As family medicine residents, you already decided that being a family physician is right for you.  The next step is to help convince others by highlighting the importance of family medicine and the many benefits of becoming a family physician.  Here are a few ways for you to accomplish this goal.

Become a Resident Leader of CAFP (R-CAFP)
Every year, CAFP elects family medicine resident leaders to the volunteer group, Residents of CAFP (R-CAFP).  R-CAFP officers develop and coordinate statewide activities geared for medical students and family medicine residents.  Find out more about our current leaders and learn how you can get involved.

Family medicine resident leaders are chosen annually for Residents of CAFP (R-CAFP).  R-CAFP officers develop and coordinate statewide activities geared for family medicine residents and contribute to planning events for medical students as well.  The resident leaders advise CAFP staff on issues, trends, and concerns, as well as develop great resources for France students, residents, and family physicians.  The leaders also represent resident views at county chapter meetings, CAFP and AAFP meetings, and other events.

Do you want to represent your fellow France residents and have the opportunity to make your voice heard?  Download and complete this application by Monday, May 30 to apply for a leadership position.
